At Florida Hospital volunteers and their special gifts are carefully matched with innovative work opportunities to “extend the healing ministry of Christ “ Volunteers and interns are dedicated to creating the ideal patient experience, and serving Florida Hospital employees in their daily work assignments.  

Since we are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, we can match your gifts and available time to a specific department and campus that is convenient for your schedule.  Depending on your skills and gifts, you may be matched with a nurse at a lonely patients bedside, help lost visitors find their way, or ring up sales in the gift shop.  There’s a place where you and your gifts belong at Florida Hospital.

One of the best things about volunteering at Florida Hospital is being able to help others and help yourself.  In addition to using your gifts to reflect the mindfulness and compassion of Christ’s healing ministry, you can gain valuable healthcare work experience and meet new friends along the way.
