How to Become an Intern

1. Send your resume by email to Fh.Volunteer.Services@flhosp.org or fax to 407.303.5461, attention Cassandra Hawes.
2. Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Services representative and department staff contact. Please bring a copy of your school objectives and any necessary requirements. You will be given guidelines, schedule, and staff contact information at the interview.
3. If an internship position is offered, attend the volunteer hospital orientation. Please bring a completed Intern Application, and signed background check form, and any other pertinent paperwork with you. There will be additional paperwork for you to fill out during your orientation.
4. Get a TB test at the Employee Clinic or a CentraCare location (no charge).

    5.    Get your ID BADGE authorization from the Volunteer Office.
           Please see ID Badge location below. Your ID Badge picture should be taken in the 
           Orlando Human Resources office, located at 2608 N. Orange Ave., across from
           the Cancer Institute.

    6.    Call 407.303.1997 for directions. Hours of operation are: 7:00am to 3:30pm 
           Monday through Thursday and 7:00am to 2:45 pm on Friday.


Department staff will call you to set up training unless it was set up during the interview.
